CTSG Environments

The Customer Technical Conformance Support Group (CTSG) provides a range of services and support to assist Member Developers (MDs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Quote Vendors (QVs) in their development and conformance to:
  • LIFFE CONNECT
  • TRS/TRAMP
  • Bclear
  • Conformance process for LIFFE CONNECT

    Prior to use a new client application into production, it is mandatory to run a conformance process. This is to ensure that the application will not act in a way that will cause degradation to the market. This process, that can vary depending on the Product Release, contains different steps:

  • A Functional Conformance Test, including backward testing on existing functionality as well as testing on new features included in the Product Release
  • A Failure Conformance Test, aimed at validate the behavior of your application in case of a member or market outage
  • A Volume Test, to ensure that your client application can perform normal trading functions in case of a high market activity
  • Conformance process for Bclear

    It is also required to run a conformance prior to use a new Bclear application into production. However, only a functional testing is required.

    CTSG Test Environments

    CTSG maintains different test environments that Developers can access to perform testing against the different versions of the API or the matching engines on all NYSE Liffe markets. They also offer full STP testing from Front to Back Office systems. These environments can be accessed either via VPN, dedicated leased lines or Member's live infrastructure. They are open during standard NYSE Liffe and Bclear trading hours.
